Create a Sunset Elephant layered papercut in 30 days!

I have decided to run an online course for those of you who would like to learn how to create a layered papercut, but may struggle to find the time to attend a regular physical course. The course has been designed to enable you to dip in and out at times which are convenient for you.

This course is aimed at beginners (however if there is enough interest I will also be doing intermediate and advanced courses in the near future, as well as a course on creating your own templates), so those with little to no experience in papercutting are able to take part. It will cover everything you need to know to create a layered papercut from a template, including; things you will need, types of paper, how to order paper layers, tips and techniques for cutting, mounting and framing.

The course will consist of a digital template as well as a practice sheet and written instructions, along with a series of tutorial style videos which will show in depth examples of the cutting and creation process. It will take part in an online group setting where discussion and work in progress updates will be actively encouraged, it will also mean any questions can be posted within the group, or sent to myself during the duration of the course, where I will be available to help and give advice.

The online course will begin on the 1st of September 2020, and I am offering up initial places for emporium members at an introductory price of just £29, after the 21st August the price of the course will be £50.

I also have the option to purchase a kit of the basics for creating the papercut. The kit will include the printed template on 160gsm high quality hammered paper, a scalpel, 20 extra blades, self-healing mat and glue. The kit will cost £23.95 with free p&p. Please note that the kit is only available to purchase for over 18’s. Alternatively I am also able to provide the printed template and instructions only for a fee of £9.95 including p&p.
